Nevashi Union Parishad No. 8 is known as Nagnewari Union Parishad in Nageshwari upazila of Kurigram district. Newashi Union is located about 4 km west of Hospital Road in Nageshwari Upazila.Nageshwari municipality to the east of the union, Bhangamor to the west, Santoshpur to the north and Hasnabad to the south. On the way west from Nageshwari Upazila bus stand of Kurigram district to Nevashi, you will see this beautiful Union Parishad building on the right hand side. How beautiful is the Union Parishad building. There are 18 kilometers of paved roads and 14 kilometers of unpaved roads in Newashi Union. There are three rivers and two beels. There are 15 bridges and numerous culverts.
